HOW TO COMMISSION A UNIQUE PIECE OF JEWELLERY
OUR DESIGN PROCESS
If you have never commissioned a piece of jewellery before, it can be a daunting prospect, but we have been creating bespoke jewellery for a long time, and will guide you gently through the design process.
You'll deal directly with one of the skilled goldsmiths from our workshop.

This is where we find out what you have in mind, and develop it into a workable design.

Nothing is standard or pre-determined. Every design starts with a blank page.
Free estimate

Once we have the exact design, we'll be able to calculate a price for creating your piece.
Every client is different, as is every commission, so the process can vary, but generally it goes something like this...
Make an Appointment
You give us a call, and have a brief chat about your requirements.
We then check our diaries to find an available time slot that will best suit you.
Come for a Consultation
We meet to discuss your ideas in full detail, asking questions to get as much information from you as possible, so we truly understand what you are trying to achieve.
Sourcing Stones
If your project involves us supplying diamonds or other stones, we’ll show you some from stock or source a selection from our suppliers that fit your brief and budget.
Price Calculation
Once we know the exact specifications we calculate material and labour costs for creating the item.
We can then provide you with a no-obligation quotation, based on the price of metal on the day. (Precious metal prices change constantly.)
Order
When you place an order we require a deposit of 25% of the total.

The price is fixed at that point, because this is when we purchase the metal. (We also agree a date for the completion of your item.)
Creation
Now we can go ahead and make your piece of jewellery!
Some customers like to see their piece before completion, or we can let you know when it is ready.
