Bespoke = unique
Most engagement rings you see in High Street jewellers are mass-produced in factories. There could be hundreds, or even thousands of people wearing the exact same ring, from the same mould.
So, instead of simply picking a ring from a tray, why not propose with an engagement ring that you helped to design?
We start from scratch every time, which allows complete flexibility. We don't use moulds, so you won't see anyone wearing the same ring.

Free design consultation
A consultation is a chance to discuss possibilities with one of the skilled goldsmiths from our on-site workshop.
Surprise your partner with a ring that you helped to design, or alternatively, if you come along together, you can both have a hand in the design your ring..

Design your own engagement ring
You can have as much creative input as you wish. Between us we'll design a unique ring that’s perfect for your partner, and that fits your budget.
It does not matter whether or not you already have an idea in mind.
During the consultation we offer suggestions and advice as required, until we end up with an idea that you're happy with.

A: There are jewellers in Guildford, but few specialist bespoke goldsmith workshops. Aurum in Worthing is around an hour away and offers a genuinely different experience.
Q: Do you supply GIA-certified diamonds to Guildford clients?
A: Yes — all our diamonds are GIA-certificated. We can also source lab-grown diamonds. We'll discuss the options at your consultation.
Q: Can I design something inspired by a piece I've seen elsewhere?
A: Yes — many clients bring reference images and we use them as a starting point to develop something related but original.
We don't copy other designs, but we absolutely take inspiration seriously.
Q: What happens after the design consultation?
A: We produce a quote, which we calculate based on the costs of materials and labour that would be involved in creating the ring.
The next stage might involve sourcing some suitable stones to show you.
There is no obligation until a firm order is placed.
If you're happy to proceed, we'll ask for a 25% deposit, and begin making your ring.
