Aurum (the name is Latin for gold), was set up in 1985, by designer-craftsman, Andrew Leggett, who had spent the preceding 10 years making high-class jewellery in the London workshops, of eminent designers John Donald and Geoffrey Turk.
We design and make high quality jewellery of all kinds, in gold, platinum, diamonds, and other precious and semi-precious stones. The majority of our work is completely handmade from scratch, using traditional techniques, and much is made to commission.
Although most of our clients visit us in person, we frequently undertake commissions from abroad, with all arrangements being made using e-mails and phone calls. The
craftsmen at aurum are always happy to discuss individual requirements, and offer
advice and estimates without obligation. . Individually
designed wedding and engagement rings make up a large part of
our output. In addition to our own creations, designed by Andrew Leggett and produced by a small team of jewellers, we now carry the work of other designers, whose work we admire. We currently have jewellery by Atelier Verstraeten, Bunz, Xen, Breil, Stockert, David Webdale and Dancing Bear. We also carry out remodelling of clients' own jewellery. You may have inherited a collection of jewellery which, whilst it has sentimental value, never gets worn because it is unfashionable, or just not to your taste. Why
not let us redesign it for you? A large piece can be broken down and
"reincarnated" as several smaller pieces, or a lot
of small unwanted items can be turned into one more
impressive piece. Show us what you have, and we will be happy to discuss some possibilities. |
